Happy New Year!!!  I hope that my second grade family enjoyed a holy, happy, and healthy holiday season.

Your generosity enhanced my holiday cheer.  I thank you all for the many gifts and thoughts.

The children arrived back from holiday in great form.  They were truly eager to share all the marvelous things they did with the family and the fantastic presents under the tree.  Monday and Tuesday the students really stayed on task and were very attentive to the day.  To reward our children for this fabulous attitude we will celebrate with a show and tell on Friday, January 10th.  Please no electronics as they are too expensive to travel or no pets due to allergies.

Thank you again for all your continued support and encouragement.

Please accept our apologize for not sending the St. Joseph Awards home last Friday.  The students now have them in their take home folders.

Congratulations to Connor Waters, Jack Booz, and Brooke Grose for being player of the day.  Our class has held on to being seventh in the school.
The children loved shopping with their prayer partners picking out special gifts for you!
This week we are looking forward to the Christmas pageant on Tuesday night.  Our tradition of red and green day will take place on Thursday.  The children may add red and green to their uniforms.

This week for homework will be for the students to cooperate and help their families prepare for the holiday.  Merry Christmas and have a happy and holy season.

With the holiday season upon us and all the festivities that are provided for the students, I will be posting players of the day monthly as to not miss anyone.

We enjoyed the Sound of Music at Archbishop Wood and celebrated St. Nicholas Day.  The children really enjoyed both events.
This week we are looking forward to Secret Santa Workshop.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!  On this holiday season of Thanksgiving I would like you to know that I count you among my blessings.  Enjoy your families and Thanksgiving.

This week our Players of the Day are: Thomas Conoscenti for Monday and Tuesday; Shane Nolan is our player today.  Thanks to all our players.

The children are very excited about sharing this holiday with friends and family.  Many activities such as ice skating, football, visiting Hershey Park.

Today we will sing Happy Birthday to Father Citino!!!

We are celebrating Charlotte's Web.  Some of the students thought it was PERFECT, CLEVER, and TERRIFIC saying it Charlotte would.  We will view the movie and compare it to the book.
