Good Morning to all the future Second Grade Students.  Hopefully you enjoyed the summer break,  I am looking forward to you sharing some of the best things that you did with your family and friends.

Soon we will all be back to school and I know "The Best of the Bunch" will be in second grade.  We have many fun and exciting tasks that we will complete throughout the year.

Good Morning, the students are working each day on finals and review.  They have no written homework and please continue to study from the Religion Study Guide each day.

The week of Monday 19th we will begin our assessments for the end of the year.  To insure that the students have ample time and guidance we will work on Math and ELA from Monday to Thursday.
Religion will be administered Tuesday and Wednesday, May 27th and 28th.  I feel confident that the children will do well!! Thanks and enjoy the weekend.

May has been a busy time for us.  Our students have achieved another rank in the school for First in Math.  In May room 204 has maintained third and fourth place in the school…..YEAH!!

Kellan Dwyer…CONGRATS to these students and all the children for their continued efforts.
We celebrated Miss Fetterolf's upcoming Nuptials - thanks to every one for making this a special time.

Good-Bye to April and the showers!  We are looking forward to May and its flowers.  Our players of the Day have been Nicole Spencer, Connor Waters, Kellan Dwyer.  We are learning about how cultures have special ways of doing things.  Our book this week was "How My Parents Learned to Eat".  We thought it would be fun to learn about our different cultures.  So I have put together a Grandparent Interview Sheet.  If you and your child would like to participate that would be great.  If a grandparent is unavailable you could use another relative or yourself.  We would like to present the information on Friday, May 9th in honor of Monther's Day.  Thanks for all your support.
