We have been successful in the First In Math ranking.  Our class is ranked 12th in the school.
Congratulations to all who helped make this possible.  Our players of the day are:  Monday - Brook Grosse; Tuesday - Daniel Link; Wednesday - Gianna Forgione.

Also this week we will celebrate a birthday with Sarah Kelly "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SARAH!" this week.

Two more All About Me dates have arrived:  Patrick Boyle will celebrate the week of January 6th; and Kerryn Kleis will celebrate the week of February 10th (her birthday is August 20th.

Another Hot One......cooler weather on its way we hope!!!

A few notes of interest:

                                 The students were given the information for First In Math.  So sorry for any inconvenience with the slight delay.  My login was troublesome and finally today we were successful.
Hopefully the students will enjoy the experience.  Some of the students were so happy to play the math games today!

                                        ******ALERT***********

Due to the excessive heat the students are permitted to wear their gym uniforms tomorrow!!!!

Today the heat was intense and the students were given drink breaks every 15 minutes.  Hopefully we will be blessed with some fall temperatures soon.

******Please provide your child with a Shelter-In-Place Bag which will be due on September 20th.
The children need a baggie labeled with their name, grade and room number.  Inside the bag should be a bottle of water and a non-perishable snack. *****

Good Morning,
The children will be bringing their H (homework) copybook home today.  A homework sheet is attached to the first page.  You will notice that tonight they will be writing spelling words numbered 1-4
three times each.  These words are located at the bottom of the Homework sheet.  They also have Math homework in their practice book (page 3) -  I always start their work with them.  We completed half of the math page and half of the spelling words.  Vocabulary words are also listed at the bottom of the page hopefully we will have time to work on skits this afternoon.  W.I.L.T. in the writing section means What I Learned Today; for example: Today I learned that Mary celebrated her birthday.
Hopefully this information will be of assistance to you.

Good morning,
The first week of school is coming to a successful close.  The children seemed to be happy and contented.  Secret:  for their cooperative behavior we will have a special treat of a little outside recess on this beautiful day.  Also if any parent is available to be story parent this afternoon we would love it.  I realize it is short notice so no worries if this can not happen.  Please email if you would like to be our star reader today.  I will post as soon as I hear.  The sign up sheet will be available on back to school night.

Hopefully you received the take home folder with a group of forms that you will beed to review, sign and return to school.  The students were excited to learn the specials and the day they will participate them.  For your information the following are the days:
