November 26, 2019

Dear friends,
We hope that you are all having a lovely start to the week.
We know that with the holidays approaching you are all very busy. Starting this week, 2nd grade will not have any written homework until the end of the holidays (December included). We are asking the students to continue reading each night, practice sight words, and math facts.  We hope that you take this time to enjoy this chaotic but magical season with your families!

A few reminders:
Giving Tuesday: Tomorrow is giving Tuesday. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. For students who bring in $5, they will be given a thank you pair of Nativity sunglasses.  All proceeds will benefit our school STEAM lab.
Candy Guessing: Student Council is hosting another candy guessing contest during morning recess (Hershey kisses or life savers).  The chances are 3 for $1. Tomorrow is the last day for the contest.
Thanksgiving Holiday: Nov. 27th is a half day of school.  The School will be closed on Nov. 28th and Nov. 29th for the holiday.

We wanted to take a minute to thank you all for all that you do! We are extremely grateful for your continued support! We are very lucky to have such great families!  We wish you all a very blessed and relaxing Thanksgiving holiday!
With grateful hearts,
the 2nd grade team
