Hello Friends!

Thank you to you all for your hard work on our Saints' costumes!  2nd grade looked amazing and we know that you all worked very hard.  Job well done! 

Please note changes on this week's homework sheet. Due to last Friday's unexpected day off we will be moving some of our tests.

                         Our Religion Test on chapter 6 will be on Thursday 11/7.

                         Our Spelling Test (ck words) and Reading Test (Ugly Vegetables) will be on Friday 11/8. 

A few reminders: 

Classroom Donations:  As the flu season sets in and the cold weather arrives we are asking for small donations of: baby wipes, tissues, hand sanitizer, and paper towels. Thank you so much for thinking of us 

Important Dates:

Nov 14: December lunch module opens 

What we are learning: 

ELA: The Ugly Vegetables.  We will be focusing on proper nouns, informative writing, double consonants and "Ck" (spelling words) and homophones

Religion: Finishing Saint John the Baptist and beginning Jesus is our Savior 

Math: Chapter 3: addition, subtraction and related facts.  Using part, part, whole to solve word problems (break apart) and equal groups

Social Studies and Science: Building a community and beginning Thanksgiving (Native Americans and Pilgrims)
