Here is a peek at our week ahead: 

Important Dates: 

Tuesday Feb. 4th- Religion test: Chapter 11

Friday Feb.7th- 9am Mass, Test on Helen Keller and "o, oa, ow" spelling words

What we are learning: 

Math: Continuing Chapter 5; 2 digit subtraction (modeling, regrouping, and break aparts). 

ELA: Story of the Week: Helen Keller.  Long O sound (ow, o, oa- spelling words), Proper Nouns, suffix "ly", Reasons to write: persuade, entertain, inform, and biographies 

Religion: Finishing Chapter 11 (We Worship God) and Beginning chapter 12 (We Celebrate Baptism and Confirmation) 

Social Studies/Science: Map skills and Outer Space/Solar System
